Holidays over (Alps)

Another Christmas holiday over. A bit more walking than skiing this year, as fair weather skiers we only take to the slopes when the sun shines and there wasn't a lot of that this vacation. It stared with it snowing, it ended snowing and we had a couple of good falls in between! but unfortunetly it also rained - usually at night. There was plenty of snow on the piste although icy in places. But not having seen any snow falling for the past couple of years it was lovely to watch. We walked to Gaydon, Montriond to Ardent and La Plagnettes to Morzine (thats where the horses were).
