Last month (Brittany)

I've finally settled down to painting again having had a very disrupted year to date very little new work has been produced. Last month we paid our only visit to Toad Hall (our cottage in Brittany) and were lucky to be blessed with a week of weather high summer would be proud of.

We (Michael and I) enjoyed cycling along the canal to Josselin, boating on the lake and a jolly good walk in the Brocieliande - where King Arthur comes from as far as Bretons are concerned. And we had I think one of the best meals for many, many a year in the 'Vents du Sud' restaurant in Ploermel.
