Winter in the Languedoc

We've just had a lovely weekend here in Northern Ireland, cold and crisp in the morning but warm in the afternoon sun. At the same time it is snowing in the Languedoc! We have had snow flurries and frost at Easter in St. Pons in the past but I think (I hope) the amount of snow they've had this winter is exceptional.

The photos are a view of the main road to St. Pons and the Lac de Vesoles which is up in the mountains above us at 1000 metres which is the same height as the ski resort of Morzine so that it's frozen is not so surprizing.
I guess there's not much work going on to our 'summer kitchen' chez nous at Camp Soleil at the minute.
