Ahhh, summer in the Alps, high alpine meadows, gurgling streams, melodic clang of cow bells - all this could be yours, there's our apartment, across the valley in Grande Terche, the cluster of buildings in the distant left of the cow parsley! Weekly rental through the summer season is £275, that's per week from Saturday 6th July to 24th August (linen hire is available at an extra cost). Out of season,when it is very, very, very quiet in May and June it is £220 per week. You can be as active or as lazy as you like, there are plenty of exciting sporty things to do. Walking can strenuous full day treks or the cable car up and a dander down.
Car hire is really a must to make the most of sight seeing, here's lake Geneva, spending a day visiting Thonon and Evian, 40 minutes down the valley are worth seeing and there are boat trips to be had along the shore or across to Switzerland. Check out flights to Geneva with easyjet, aer lingus or jet2 for a good deal.
