Why 3 corners of France?

The blog is called 3 corners of France because we own 3 properties in France and they are more or less in 3 of the 6 corners of l'hexagone that is France - least ways thats the way the French see their country.

Usually at this time of year I'd be visiting our cottage in Brittany but due to one thing and another not this year, but we will be over in September. We've owned the cottage for about 11 years it was the second property we bought in Brittany back when we thought we would have a gite business one day. We rented out our properties in Brittany for several years but we sold the first one to buy the apartment. The cottage - 'Toad Hall' I now only rent out at a nominal rate to friends and colleagues as to be honest it's in need of some refurbishment but the house in St. Pons is taking centre stage these days.
