The low season (Alps)

The last guests are in the apartment next week, at the minute the snow is still covering the ski slopes well (photo was taken this week) and the ski lifts don't close for another 2 weeks, so there could be some very cheap skiing to be had if you can go at the drop of the hat. From the 12th April until 5th June the apartment is available to rent at £22 a night minimum 3 nights, or 1 week at £140. You take as you find it and leave it as you would wish to find it!
The Low season is very quiet in the area, about 70% of the shops in Morzine sell ski wear in the winter and outdoor pursuits stuff in the summer and CLOSE in between, as do most of the cafe/restaurents too.
But for the dedicated walker the mountains are quiet, unspoilt and alpine flowers are emerging it is beautiful, no ski lifts to help you up so the muscles better be up for it.
If you are interested in a break email me.
The photograph of the cow is in fact slap bang in the middle of a ski slope - in summer - they can be very, very steep to walk up.
