Quelneuc Chapel (Brittany)
Further pages from my old sketchpad, these 4 panels detailed Quelneuc's little chapel; the corn that grows around it, door and window details and the lillies planted at it's front.

Photo of the real thing...... There's about 3 dozen houses in the village now, so I guess it was a lot smaller when the chapel was built, probably seats about 30 at a squeeze. It's only opened once a year to celebrate it's saints day in May, when an open air service is followed by drinks and cake in the lane outside - that's my kind of religion!
