TOAD HALL continued (Brittany)

adjacent bathroom had come adrift and water was gradually flowing around us. Mercifully like most of the work done on the house the 'level' floor was a bit cock eyed and so we sat in splendid isolation on a dry patch, couldn't have been planned any better.
It's a bit worrying looking at this 'before' photo now, but does that look like a mound over a body buried by the door? I was never 100% comfortable in one of the bedrooms in our first house in France, I don't feel strongly one way or other about the existence of ghosts but I was willing to believe there was a presence there. Any things going bump in the middle of the night in Toad Hall are more liable to be the birds that live under the eaves scratching about.
