WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES (Alps)

'What a difference a day makes, 24 little hours, da-da, sunshine and showers, tra la, used to be rain, di di dum di di dum dum' etc, etc, - you know the song I mean, Candy Staton? not Donna Summer for sure, anyway I'm sure you know it.

Never was there a truer statement when it comes to a snow fall in the Alps, and it happened overnight and the following day 27th December, lots and lots and lots of lovely, lovely powder, fine and dry and magical.

 

'It's starting to look a lot like Christmas' - just 2 days late.

 

 

And then the sun starts to emerge.

 

And then it's business as usual, a foot of snow, so what?
