AUTUMN IN HAUT LANGUEDOC

Some photos from our past 3 Tuesday walks, all through the vines, as the leaves turn....

A dull day at the start of October, made this little patch of vines even more dramatic.

The next week we walked over in the Minerve region, a fantastic, warm autumn day.

It was a walk through vines, honest, they just are not very evident in this photo. Even hotter than the previous week, how lucky we are. This photo illustrates why we live in the mountains (in the distance) and not the plain - boring! (Walk from Montady)

Tomorrow we will be walking just north of Beziers, it has turned cold over the weekend with a biting wind and set to stay that way for the week, the return of some heat will coincide with my return to Northern Ireland - so no heat for me then.
